Good food and reasonable prices

The taco hut in Jamestown was rated well so we though we would try it out. First impression was the restaurant looked good and as we went inside it looked nice as well. Service took over 5 minutes to get seated and we were the only people in line for a table of 3. As we sat service was slow but not terrible. Chips and salsa are NOT included so be prepared to pay 5$ for a small. The food was ok for 2/3 of us but one order was completely wrong and then they tried to just add a side to make it better. The food was refused and we chose to not have a new order to replace it. So I gave it a 2 because aesthetics were nice but the food was well below sub par and the service was not good. Will not return to this restaurant again.

I went and visited today with my 2 kids. Let's just say I was kinda disappointed coming from someone that has always work the restuarant field. The service was poor, it took forever to get our food and we were the only table on that side of the building. Never was asked if everything was okay or if we needed refills, and we did. I used to go several years ago and it was GREAT definitely has changed over the years.

Haven't eaten here in 20 years, so wasn't expecting much. The Taquitos were pretty good, and had the large house salad, which was a lot of food.Do not understand why they put the Taquitos on a bed of shredded lettuce, tomatoes, and green onions, but okay.Overall, a much better experience than 20 years ago. I may not wait so long to go back again.

I love this place! The food is amazing and the prices are very reasonable, my family of 5 can eat here for under $50. If you have a large party (5+ people) it's a good idea to make a reservation, that being said I've never had more than a 10 minute wait.

The staff treat you like family. Open, warm and welcoming. The food is always amazing and the wait times for a sit down restaurant are perfect.

Slow service, prices are all $2-$4 more expensive than posted online, and the food all tastes like it came from a can. Very disappointing because it used to be a great place.

Very good milkshakes and food. I was in town for a reunion and decided to go with the family and glad I did. Food was really good.

still amazing, I always make a stop here when I'm back home in Jamestown - food is great, its texmex, not Mexican for sure. highly recommend d the Jalapeno Poppers and the Enchilada Revolution!

A must stop in Jamestown. Nightime visit on a weekend. Street parking will be full. No worries there is a parking deck just 1000 ft down the road, well lit seemed safe. Quick jaunt across on lighted crosswalk and you're there. Quite the bustle indoors. Very nicely decorated, host staff seemed a little inexperienced, but server well informed. Good Mexican cuisine and a plethora of adult beverages to choose from.

Locals are crazy about this place for some reason or another. The service was sluggish however they were busy. Refills were not an issue. They bring small pitchers to the table. So the food is not authentic at all. The beef is way too salty and they have banana peppers in there lettuce mixture for the tacos. Not the worst food ever but far from the hype that’s built up around this place. Over a 100.00 check before tip for 4 adults and 3 kids. Steer clear of this place and open for more authentic food.

Got there just about the end of lunch rush, not a long wait to be seated, service needs improvement, then again it was probably a long day 🤔 appetizers and lunch came together😣 fast food service. Reasonably priced, good taste!

This is definitely an American Mexican restaurant. The fare was not bad but, having lived in a region with authentic Mexican peasant food I'm accustomed to better. For a small city like Jamestown it's better than taco bell. The one plus was the bartender. Drinks were definitely the high point of the visit.

The tacos I had were excellent. I look forward to trying more of their dishes!

Taco hut is always our favorite place to go! They are doing a very through job keeping up with the sanitizing and spacing needs right now! The servers are so friendly and efficient. Highly reccomend this Jamestown favorite!

I just had the worst food I have ever received from Taco Hut. Everything was cold, soggy and greasy. All that and no flavor. What happened? Used to be good. $40 I wish I had spent anywhere else!

Great food. Large amounts. Slightly expensive but so so worth it.

The tacos carnitas with boom boom sauce is an excellent choice.

One of my favorite places to eat and have a drink. I probably visit 2 to 3 times a month with family and/or friends. The tacos and chicken barreto are highly recommended🌮

Their shrimp quesadilla is my favorite! This is always one of our stops when we are in town.

I ordered chips and cheese however I got way too much cheese and still had a lot left after I finished the chips. The waitress made me immensely uncomfortable especially when I said "babygirl" to a friend of mine and she promptly turned around and asked if I was talking to her. Other than that it was pretty good.

Seated quickly and ordered our lunch. Got it quickly and it was fabulous! Waitress was friendly and attentive. Delicious quesadillas and blooming onion.

Always delicious food! N terrific margaritas! I've never had a bad meal here. Everything is clean. Terrific staff. Three separated dining areas offer a cozy feel and a "sound break" from other diners. The largest room has a full-service bar. Of course there's take-out n delivery. Street parking n handicapped accessibility.

If you like authentic Mexican food, steer clear. Very little pork in my tacos, but what was in there tasted good and was tender. Don't waste your money on the queso-Tostitos tastes better. Not sure what all the hype is about this place. Staff were very friendly.

The food is AWESOME, But the staff needs to Be more cheerful and mor interactive with customers while they are working, this also goes for the CEO of this restaurant to gt info on how to improve and expand his/her bussiness
